Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said that she and other gun control advocates are considering a law that would create a program to purchase weapons from gun owners, a proposal that could be compulsory.

We are also looking at a buy-back program,” Feinstein said today in a press conference. “Now, again, this is a work in progress so these are ideas in the development.”

Gov. Andrew Cuomo, D-N.Y., already discussed the possibility of a buy-back law for his state, but he made clear it would be a forced buyback.

“Confiscation could be an option,” Cuomo told The New York Times yesterday when discussing semiautomatic weapons. “Mandatory sale to the state could be an option. Permitting could be an option - keep your gun but permit it.”

I seriously dislike that woman. I feel like we fell into some kind of alternate America where we have no rights, and have to turn over our personal property to the gov at whatever price they deem.

Let's start a "We the people" petition to ban cars next. Drunk driving kills alot more people every year, and it's the same way the Dems are looking at guns.

I'm not one of those subversives that would actually suggest any kind of revolt but I am also a realist and know how many people like that that there are here. There would literally be a war in this country before any law like this were allowed to take effect and since the hard core gun people are much better armed than the police it will mean the US military operating in our borders killing US citizens. Again ... I'm not suggesting this or saying that I would be any part of it .... but I am explaining that it will be the reality if a law like this managed to pass.

Makes you wonder if that's what they were anticipating with FEMA and DHS buying up millions of rounds of ammo .... putting tin foil hat back on.

These kind of media releases will seal the fate of any attempt to ban, or restrict. They are so inflammatory that most politicians will RUN from anything the extreme liberals want. Confiscation... That will go over real well in the rural areas of America.
