Senators Ginn, Staton Kill SB 101 with help from Lt. Gov Cagle

HB 512 should have it's first reading on the Senate floor today, and then hopefully get assigned to a committee.

At this point, all you need to be doing is contacting your Senator and asking for them to support the Bill. Once it gets into a committee, then I'm sure we will be asked to contact the committee members for support.

If you haven't contacted your Senator yet, please do so today and get it on their radar. Hopefully it already is.

You should consider contacting all the members of the Judiciary Non-Civil committee in the Senate. Politely ask them to support HB 512 and even talk about the changes that need to be made to it in your opinion.

Please do not Carbon Copy all the committee members with one email. That is seen as very bad decorum, and the Legislative members can not stand it.
