Rep. Hill (Hickory Flat/Canton) says he is also a sponsor of the Jasperse bill. GGO previously reported that Hill wanted to introduce a bill to allow legislators to carry in government buildings. After a flurry of emails, he seems to be trying to support our rights.

Hill did introduce that bill. I'm betting he wishes he hadn't. My Rep, Rick Jasperse said he would speak in opposition of Hill's bill if it made it to the floor.

OK big news. Rick stood asked for rules to be suspended and for the bill to be read and assigned to committee. It was and assigned to public safety. No word on the number yet. This is BIG.

I wrote my Rep politely voicing my opinion & asking for his help. But does anyone know what time they plan on voting or when we will know the results? Thanks
It won't be voted on for a couple days. It has been assigned to the Public Safety Committee and will have to be voted out of that before moving on. Things can happen real quick though.
