Don't worry. it can never be paid back. it's like the story from business school: if you owe the bank 50k you have a problem. if you owe the bank 5 billion they have a problem.

It will increase and increase and increase and people will keep voting thinking somebody in will change it.

It wont. Lets be real here. Obama takes multi million dollar vacations all the time, he gives away money like its candy on Halloween and we have an active war some people seem to forget about. The ONLY way to come out of that is to collect more money to help fund the money that is going out. These days I see our government as one huge ponzi scheme. Its only a matter of time before the Jig is up.

That was finalized in 1913. It started during Reconstruction. Nothing worse than slaves that believe they're free. "Hey I can vote". "Hey I have all of these debt notes!!"
