Serious question... my daughter and a gun.....

News flash... she just told me that she wouldn't want a pink gun... 'cause nobody would take her seriously... hmmm... interesting thought!

If she's at Tech (someone mentioned this earlier) I can direct your to a great group of guys AND gals in the GT Marksmanship Club. They have range outings every month, sometimes twice a month in a very peer friendly, no pressure setting. Everyone is just there to have fun and learn.

And if all else fails, I can escort her to class :D Seriously though, if you want the info for the club shoot me a PM.

All... I really appriciate all the comments and suggestions that every one of you has posted. That's the cool thing about this place... LOTS of advice!!! Thank you so much!
At this point, I'm not going to be THAT dad who forces my daughter to do anything she doesn't feel comfortable with... thanks to all of you who pointed that out to me. I will however, start looking for a small .22 or .25 pistol to buy and use as an inexpensive practice gun. Yeah, I'll take my daughter out to shoot it, and hopefully, she'll like it a lot more than the big 'ol LOUD g22 she shot last night. I'm still going to pursue some training for her (and my sons)... I mentioned that I posted a vid on Facebook last night. This morning, I had a comment from my LEO buddy who would possibly be a training resource for us... he made some suggestions to her about her grip and arm position. The good thing is... she had a great time shooting last night, and didn't shoot me down when I commented that she should get a gun, learn how to use it, and carry it!

Thanks again, everyone!
Jim
