Serious Question and not trying to stir the pot or beat a dead horse. But why do some folks list guns for trade only? Couldn’t they sell it and buy whatever they want with the proceeds?

When I trade a gun for a gun it's nice to get something back in that spot vs I'll sell something and have $500, then the next time I look in my wallet I have $6 somehow.
It’s not about the money for some. You never know what you’ll come across. Some folk are only allowed to so many horses in the stable at one time. IMHO 8
