Seriously, does it make that much of a difference (charging handle)?

A wise man would just look at them and read the name...

It was a joke homie...

I'm betting they all look very similar to this one:

3 of my AR's were built before Noveske was cool.... John himself built 2 of of the 3 them.

I'll look in the morning, my wife is sleeping. (My lil one was up at like 4am this morning, LOL)

The only reason a different charging handle should really need to be replaced or modified is if it interferes with the an optic. All charging handles do the same damn thing. Do I replace mine? Sure it looks cool to have a Raptor ambi handle sitting up there but without an optic it's strictly fluff. A run of the mill, Mil spec charging handle will handle any battle situation you will ever run up against. I am even guilty of strapping on the BCM Gun Fighter just to be in the loop. Like I said if you have a good mil spec charging handle and the optic is getting in the way then buy the larger catch lever and call it a day. That is the really all you need but I am just as guilty as the rest of the general population and buying the next best thing that looks cool. Face it none of us is going to be in a situation where the 1/10 of a second it takes to charge the handle from the left instead of the right is going to save hordes of people. However AR owners are particular and like to deviate from the norm and customize their rifles as they see fit. So if it takes a Charging handle to keep him interested in his rifle it sure as hell beats going out and buying a new rifle. Another good reason is Raptor handles are a lot more comfortable. The standard units do dig into the fingers a little. The armed forces have went to war with them for years and years and we haven't lost a war because of a mil-spec charging handle yet. That is all!
