Ok so it's just a longevity of plate issue- I'm not worried about that as long as it's safe. I'd like to shoot pistol fmj probably as close as 10-15 yards and rifles maybe 50 yards. I'll give these a try

I would be cautious shooting too close, especially with rifles. Just make sure you use the dome head bolts facing out. Too many right angles on the strike face will sent small shards of jacket back at you. I've never been hurt by any, but you do feel them hit you. Wear eye pro anytime you shoot steel inside of 20 yards.
