Is that the red stag down in south ga everyone is talking about?

Red stag yes I had two in Heard Co last year for months. Eating a ton of food in fact they knocked over the feeder when it was close to empty.

i assume that they went home maybe looking for female Red Deer in September 20

That would be a hell of a score to get one of those. I still haven’t gotten a buck this year. I’d spend a whole season dedicated to taking that guy
