I've been wanting to make one of these for a long time. I cut a maple tree down this winter after the ice storm and had a stump to either grind or cover. I decided to cover it with a shed tree. I had sheds in almost every barn, hanging from trees and in the yard and was tired of stepping over or tripping over them so here was my solution.

Probably attract a lot of squirrels:)

Very seldom see any squirrels here at the house. Surrounded by endless prairie with older cedar tree windbreaks on the west, north and east and few maple and elm trees in the yard. Down on the creek is a different story. Squirrel population is pretty good down there.
