Shield grip

Got a shield and was not liking the grip, seemed a bit narrow and hard to hold on to. Found the model specific Hogue for the shield and installed. It was like $8 from midwayusa. This thing is wonderful, made grip just a tad wider and a much better for for my hand. I highly recommend one. The installation instructions said it would be hard and it was. I was starting to think the grip was for a smaller gun. I followed their instructions and a bit of persuasion, was eventually able to get it on and it now seems to be factory.

That's what I did to mine. Love it.

May have to get one of these. I stopped carrying my Shield because the grip is just too narrow for me. Thought I'd get used to it, but no.

I was considering trading for a m&p compact, but am keeping the shield now.

Also did the same thing to mine. Makes all the difference in the world. Installation was a little tough but makes the grip so much better once it's on.
