Shipping M1 to California.

Have California resident that wants to purchase my M1 and ship to FFL. Would be a first for me to sell out of state. Anyone have any experience in shipping C&R to FFL in Cal?

I think I did once. IIRC no different than any other FFL. The hassle is on his side. 10 day wait and some kind of permit process.

Please check the list of rifles banned by name first

As long it's not prohibited and his receiving FFL is on the CA DOJ FFL list it shouldn't be a problem. You talking Garand or carbine?

Have them send payment in YOUR name to to a local FFL. Once payment clears,let the FFL send the rifle. That way you're in control of the whole situation and don't get scammed
