I would just take the strap off the Mossberg, and leave it like it is..
NP. I handled them side by side and ordered the Mossberg. Tried local but, they wouldnt work with me on price. Its going under the bed. Just trying to figure out what I want to do before it gets here.MaconGuns thanks for the insight.
I hear you on that. I want to get one and keep in my vehicle. Just don't care for the foregrip with the strap. If I could change that to something else and add a side saddle and change the front sight and be god to go
i like the Magpul forearm the Tac 14 has but I like using mini shells in the shockwave so...........I modded a magpul forearm for the Mossberg. I still used the strap as it is actually a safety device to hopefully keep your hand from going in front of the barrel and becoming mush.

no, just had to do some cutting on the magpul insides for it to work on the shorter shockwave. I used this thread but the pictures are no longer there. https://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_1/428232_.html&page=1
I would be concerned from a legal aspect to change much of anything on that gun. I will be more interested in that sawed off shotgun look when it comes out in a 20 gauge.
