it is not illegal to discharge a firearm in fulton or gwinnett county. there are restrictions in residential areas. i hunt gwinnett and fulton county, not in the city limits and checked by the game wardens and gwinnett county police while hunting and the only thing they asked was for my license and written permission slip. someone seen my truck and said they thought i was dumping trash was the reason gwinnett county police paid me a visit in the woods.

Yote tried to get my dog this morning. He's in the woods still. Animal Control said they will call me back. I has guns. Use them? Or wait for animal control? Cannot find any clear legislative literature on the legalities of firearms being discharged in the manner of pet/personal protection.

I live in Gwinnett Co, but close to Hall Co line.
I have been told by more than one LEO on both sides and 2 DNR officers , That if I can take the shot without any danger to my neighbors or property.
Than take the Coyote out. DNR said drop every one I see.
Now all that is off the record im sure.
They said: "They have enough crap to deal with than chaseing coyote calls all day."
