Sparrow Defense has added two Shoot House / Force-on-Force classes to this year's schedule. We use a law enforcement training complex located near Winder, GA. The site includes a covered structure built to simulate a single-family dwelling, as well as a larger structure built on the scale of most area public school buildings. All range fees, protective equipment, firearms, and marking rounds are included in the registration cost.
Students may elect to use their personal AR-15 style firearm for this course. We will replace your bolt with a UTM conversion bolt that will allow you to fire non-lethal marking rounds out of your personal firearm.
Introduction to Structures (July 23rd) is a one-day class that covers the basics of structure work in the covered house and is approximately 10 hours in length. Cost is $350.00.
Structure Tactics (October 22nd) is a two-day class and the scenarios are more in-depth, using both structures. Students will also be using additional skills, such as: low light shooting techniques, injured shooter techniques, tactical medicine / TECC, and post-action communication with emergency services. This course focuses on pistol for Day 1 and incorporates rifle work into day 2. Cost is $625.00.
All students will receive a certificate of training for their records.
Georgia Law Enforcement Officers will receive POST training hours for attending this course.
