Because there is no BS 3 day waiting period and background checks on gun rentals (yet).
It could be a ND that resulted in an injury or fatality. Shooters in Columbus range shop counter has several bullet holes in it...
I don't mean to sound unsympathetic toward the person committing suicide or his family, but I can't help but think about the people who had to witness it.
Agreed, that person had other options. Seems to me there might have been other motives, I don't mean ' hey look at me' but more of a action of seeking attention, or I need help.
I don't have much sympathy for whoever did it. I do feel for the family and those that witnessed it or were otherwise effected by the way the douchebags chose to go about it. Want to off yourself.....fine, do it elsewhere. Or better yet, instead of renting a gun rent a giant chopper tack some fireworks on that bitch and ride off lookout mountain in a stylish blaze of exploding powder. Lack of imagination probably led to the idiots state in the first place.
"Creativity" in suicidal thought usually turns towards trying to take other people with them. Mass shootings, etc.
