shooting to far away with a handgun

I shoot extended distances because it gets boring always hitting the target within 25 yds. I'm looking for a challenge.

Fast little bullet helps. Shooting a .357SIG at 100yds, there’s no hold over.

Shooting at long distances is no problem where I live as I have a range in my back yard and 320 acres of private land that is behind my house that I can use as well.

I can hit steel at 100 yard with my Glock 19. Same reason people like golf, it's a challenge.

I shoot from 200 yards with friends for ****s and giggles sometimes. We are not on a public range so there is no one there to be annoyed with us.

Id give anyone a 100 yard head start with my 10" octagon TC contender in 30-30.( Hearing protection is a must have). And theres 2 nice bucks on a wall behind me right now that were dropped with a 686 no dash 8" at 90 and 120 yds.

why do so many people think they have to shot their 9mm pistol at 100 yard targets? you see it all the time. a handgun is for close quarters not long range.

That's cause you can't shoot to good.

I rarely shoot my handguns farther than 50 yards, and not all that great, but shooting longer distances has certainly tightened up my short distance groups. Along with dry firing practice, shooting 25-50 yards has helped my shooting more than anything else.
