Short Act to Deregulate SBRs, SBSs, AOWs

Did a search and couldn't find this posted anywhere. Firearms Policy Coalition has shared a link to contact your representatives in regard to the Short Act which aims to deregulate SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs.

The Stop Harassing Owners of Rifles Today Act, aka the SHORT Act, has been introduced by Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS). We need your help supporting it!

The SHORT Act would remove all of the following from regulation under the National Firearms Act (NFA):

• Short barreled rifles (SBRs)
• Short barreled shotguns (SBSs)
• Any other weapons (AOWs)

The removal of these items would eliminate the need to register them with the State, pay a tax stamp/transfer fees, or subject yourself to random searches by the government to verify you still possess them.

I didn't click your link, but we already don't register or pay fees to the state for such weapons. All that money goes to the feds.

Never in a million years would the Gov't surrender the opportunity to siphon money from us by allowing us to modify our weapons barrel length using a tax.
