Shotgun Scope

I'm going to be hunting with a 12 gauge with buckshot this year. Is there any point in adding a scope to the shotgun? Again, hunting with buckshot, no slugs and probably no more than 50 yard shots.

Nothing wrong with a low power scope, or red dot optic, I use them on turkey guns. Helps in low light, and obscured shots in underbrush.

Weaver K 1.5 Used one on my slug gun for years. Worked very well. Don't know if they still make it though.
