I’m wanting to get into kayak fishing and have never owned a kayak. I really like the Feelfree Lure 13.5 and found one with a few access. I have an excellent condition BCM Recce 16 I can trade even. Should I do it?

If my health would permit I would be all over a Yak! The thought of hooking into a 25+ striper and going for a ride, would be a Huge rush for me! GO for it!

Kayak fishing is great fun. Do some research on the various boats, be advised that the weight capacity is misleading. You should only use around 65% of the published capacity, total.

Go for it, I pulled the trigger on 2 used kayaks. So much fun to fishing in them. Especially if you are close to a river.

I used to fish a local lake from the bank a ton. Never caught much.
Started killing it when I put the kayak in. It's very enjoyable.
Get a one hand paddle for slight steering corrections one handed. Kinda like a big ping pong paddle.

I have no idea if the value of the trade is right, but as far as getting a kayak, I really wish I hadn't waited so long.
