Yes a brace was not designed to be fired from the shoulder. The problems come when the firearm has back up rifle sights and a rifle scope or other optic that is designed for rifles in that they only allow for about 3” of eye relief. Those accessories can be used to establish design intent. I would not want to be in that position that’s why until this matter is truly settled by a legislative change or court ruling I won’t have a braced handgun.
