Show off your Roadsters!!

And if I get another one soon, it will be the Fiat 124 Spider Abarth- (Mazda MX-5 with a turbo and better transmission)

A Japanese built Italian Roadster.

Better color scheme-

Saw the title and thought this would be a good thread for a new guy to make a post, even though it is old school. Sounds like a good list of choices, I am partial to the Corvette and the 5.0 MGB sounds like a blast to drive, any pictures?

I looked over the field 8 years ago, the BMW M3 with the 6 cylinder fit the bill.

Course, I like speed and handling. mine was an 06, last of the 6 cylinder. Went V8 in 07, not nearly the same handling and less fun.

Add in the 6 speed stick, and good to go!
I love the beamer, but you gots to know what you're getting into...

Wow, a ‘32 with (original ?) flathead V8 !! You still have it ?
We do still have and enjoy it, the car will never be sold, been in the family many years and will be passed down to one of our children. The flathead is a later model 59AB, arguably a more desirable model flathead and has been hot rodded. Even though it has been hot rodded, they are not known to be horsepower monsters, I call it the fuel to noise converter (it does sound good). We have fun with it.

Good looking rod..
Unfortunately no (digital) pics of the conversion. It was done in 2009 and I kept and drove it until 2011 when a member of the local MGB club decided he liked it more than myself. The idea wasn’t original to me, I had saw one built by another member of the club and took his conversion a little further by tubbing the rear. Absolute sleeper. Turned a lot of heads and was extremely fun to drive when you kept the gremlins at bay. Totally stock 5.0 other than carb and headers.

If you are looking at Porsche Boxers, be sure the IMS bearing has been updated. When the IMS bearing fails, you need a new engine.
The IMS bearing problem is also in the 996 through 2006 models but, only effects less than 7% of production.
