Shtf question. What to do when SWAT in your neighborhood.

As I was playing call of duty tonite, I heard two loud explosions ( probably flash bangs). Went outside the door and the officer was holding a rifle instructed us to go inside. I freaked out that there was a ton of police cars on my street and he had a rifle out. They usually only draw their hand guns but they had rifles. Went inside and grabbed my gun just incase someone was loose around the neighborhood. Looked outside the top window and noticed the swat tank in the yard of the house across me and swat members all decked out in gear.

So I stayed inside with my family and decided against getting my AR out, but kept my handgun on me concealed as not to freak out my family. Turned out that it might of been a meth lab or drug related.

Nothing escalated, but what should I have done? Should I of gotten all my weapons ready and barricaded myself and family in a room ? Any advise in this situation?

With the police and SWAT already out there. I'd have locked my doors and stayed in the back if the house (away from the situation) in case they did start shooting. Or if it was an option it may have been a good time to take the family to a movie and dinner for a few hours

I don't think getting all your guns out and barricading yourself in would be a very good idea. Maybe just locking your door and being quiet would be a good option though.
