Sidearm when hunting/fishing

I'mma gonna say "B" -- the 13-shot .45

What I actually did carry as a backup gun when I hunted deer
was either a very compact 9mm similar to a Glock 26 (but with 10-round mag due to the 1994-2004 federal Assault Weapon ban),

or

My light weight .38 snubby, 5-shot small frame revolver.

I’m a fan of suppressive fire. More ammo = more better.

I'm going on a hog hunt in GA in the spring, was wondering the same thing. My sidearm choices are an 8-shot S&W 357, a 44mag 329PD, G40 and G20. I'm leaning towards the G40, since I'm going with a bolt rifle.
