I would not pay that much for an optic with Sig’s name on it. They make firearms, not optics. Who knows what Chinese clone they slapped their name on.

Sig has a 5 year warranty on the electronics. Its definitely a beginners thermal for the $, but all I need on our food plots for pigs. I've thought about upgrading, but as burdy said, in a few years the value of electronics drops like a stone. Spend 2-3k today and that unit in 4 years will be all but free, especially with the popularity of them rising and more products to choose from every year.

I do agree that the prices will drop quickly, HOWEVER, at age 62 time is not on my side as far as waiting out the price drop. I hope to be around a while but as we all know we are not guaranteed another day.

Not to be a downer but I would like to get my hands on a moderately priced but as much quality as can be bought for the price and appreciate the help and input from my ODT contacts for your input.
