No, neither one of us have tried the SP2022. Do you have experience with it? The thing she likes with the 229 is (1) the weight of the gun which can be found in other makes/models, and (2) how "full" the grip feels in her hand. She's held a lot of different stuff and just keeps coming back to the 229 Elite.

Yeah I have a sp2022 in 9mm. It is an "entry level" sig. Poly lower frame. Similar in size to the 226.

I have a 229 Dark Elite in .40sw comes with adjustable nite sites Short Reset Trigger, two mags box and papers listed if you are interested. Ammo available also

I'm actually thinking about switching to .40 cal, so I'm interested in this for me. PM sent.

Thanks! So we caved yesterday and bought the Sig P229 Scorpion Elite 9mm brand new. She absolutely loves it. And you know what...now I freakin want one! The SRT resets, literally, at like 1/16 of an inch. Okay, maybe 1/8, but regardless, it's incredible! I'm going to look for one in .40 cal now. I'm selling my Glocks to buy one haha. Yea, I said it...I'm going to sell my Glocks to I can buy a Sig.
