SIG Whiskey 3 or tries and true Leupold?

I’m looking at a Leupold VX2 3x9 40mm vs a Sig Whiskey 3 3x12 50mm. Price is about the same for each. I’m old skool and grew up with Leupold gear. Does anyone have any experience with the new SIG Whiskey series stuff? Both have lifetime warranties.
