I'm partial to TruGlo TFO's. Bright at night AND during the day. I like the green / red combo. Red front post, green rear. Have them on my XD and XDS, getting ready to order them for my shield.

I'm 52 and 20/400 uncorrected, yep see the big "E" at the Snelling/eye chart at stop.

The absolute best pistol sights to see that I have came across and I tried them all is the TFO's-large tube fiber optic with a tritium base that illuminates the large fiber optic tube in complete darkness.

From daylight, to twilight and to moonless night hours those darn things are almost too bright. In total darkness take a set into a closed dark bathroom at night and aim them at the mirror. They can give your position away brightness...

However, by the time the foe realizes what that faint green glow is it's lights out.

The green tubes are brighter than orange or yellow but I do like the idea of a green tube front and orange or yellow rear double fiber optic/tritium tubes.

Just like cmshoot said about the XS Big Dots, find somebody that has these and try before you buy. Buddy had them on a Glock 17, all the dots/spikes/whatnots around the ring make it VERY busy and distracting. They're also big/awkward as far as carrying and drawing the gun. Seems like a cool idea, but too much going on for my liking.

I put Truglo TFOs on my 10mm and was pretty surprised at how bright they are.

My favorite is the Truglo TFX Pro. They're pricey but worth it.
