Popped my NFA cherry on an omega 300 today with this deal, now need some input on which free can to get from octane 9, octane 45, or octane 45k? Anybody got experience with octane 9 or octane 45k?

I have an Octane 45 like very much

Remember you can shoot 9 MM through a 45 can but only one time can you shoot 45 through a 9 can

Lose some Db deadening with 45 shooting 9 but worth the flex to me

This goes to show how much room they have in the cans.... or business is just that bad for them.

Too early to tell but I purchased the omega from my lgs to save a few hoops. Still need to submit receipt and serial number to silencerco along will ffl info before time runs out and let them know which can I want. I don’t expect them to send the second can out anytime soon.

I see your point. I just don’t have a .45 and really don’t see me getting one due to ammo costs. I really only want to shoot 9mm and 22lr. I’ve read the octane 9 does well with 22lr. (I know, I know get dedicated 22lr can, but until then)

If you never ever go above 9mm diameter then Octane 9 would likely provide best suppression / be best choice
    Good cans for certain

    1. Don’t buy a can that cost $695..lol

    2. Buy local? I’d be nervous waiting on some online retailer to ship it out in time to get your info in and submitted.
