Simple ,old fashion Brunswick stew recipes :0)

I've been trying to duplicate this stew for years. I used to work in Dunwoody village in college with an Old Hickory House across the street. I had their Brunswick stew and two grilled cheese sandwiches many, many times!!

Old Hickory House was da' bomb. My father loved Old Hickory House, the one on Memorial Drive.

Anyone ever throw some cooked sausage in their's? I have some Chorizo laying around and thought it might be good chopped up in the stew to add some kick. Thoughts?

Dunno bout you folks, but i substituted traditional meat(pork, beef, chicken) with more hometown faves deer, lamb, rabbit, squirrel. The results are da bomb. Very delicious and pan is always empty b4 they leave..

I was inspired today.
Leftover ribeye, chicken thighs, Boston butt, and pork tenderloin.
I have an ear of fresh grilled corn to add at the end.
