I will never hear this song the same!!!
I just found out that's not what they were saying like a year or two ago.
For me it was an early Jimmy Buffett song-Pascagulla Run. My wife in a dying fit of drunken "Parrot Headedness" threw me under the bus at a tailgating party (probably #15 show by then) in front of all my friends....called me out, explaining in between fits of laughter and gasps for air that it was Pascagulla Run and NOT Pass the Goon a Rum!!!

Watching "The Sound of Music" with a girlfriend at her house in the mid 1980s (on VHS I think). There's a part where Maria runs back to the convent and the Mother Superior is trying to find out what happened.
Girlfriend's mother, who'd never seen the movie, but was listening in from the kitchen runs into the room and goes ballistic.
What was actually stated in the movie was "What is it you can't face?"
What she heard was the Mother Superior asking Julie Andrews was: "What is it you **** face?"
I laughed so hard I cried, took forever, and about three rewind-and-plays for her to hear "can't face". Bwhahaha.
