My eaa single action quit working recently. won't advance cylinder or cock. Numrich arms has parts but I don't want to attempt a tear down without a good idea of what might be broken or otherwise need replacing. Any help on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. My local gunsmith refuses to work on something as lowly as this eaa. Thanks, Joe

Hand spring broken?
I had a Umberti SAA that had a problem. The cylinder would not advance. Problem was cylinder gap and the Cowboy load ammo I used allowed primer to rise past the case.
Adjusted cylinder gap and discontinued using that ammo and no issues.

The video's in reply no 5 were informative, but I'm not sure the covered what I need to know. What about the works under the side plate. Where is the hand spring located. I'm confused. I already have one gun in a box that I couldn't diagnose and then could not reassemble. Any gun smith's around newnan? Any help appreciated. Thanks, Joe.
