Sizing 7mm down to 6.5 question

I meant .270, not 7mm, so it would be a .013 reduction. Like I said, those casters do it all the time, just don't know if it will work with jacketed bullets.
Spoke to a reloading buddy of mine the other day. He did buy some jacketed .310 for 7.62x39 that he resized to .308 to use in his .300 black out, but that is only .002" reduction. He said it worked great for him.

Resizing cast boolits isn't tough to do as the lead is pretty flexible, but copper jacketed bullets I would think is going to take a lot more force and may result in more deformation of the bullet. Some of my 45 molds drop the bullets at .460 or larger and I resize them down to .452 or so as needed for the given firearm. One of my guns, I just shoot as it drops.
