Skeet shooters what is your preferred ammo?

I was by no means an expert at skeet, but here are a few tips. Take an aggressive stance...like you are going to kill something...lean into the gun, stick that butt into your shoulder pocket, keep your elbows up, KEEP THE GUN MOVING, 90% of misses are behind the bird.

Consider the stance of a major league baseball batter, all coiled up, weight on back foot/leg, ready to hit the crap out of the ball; compare to a 8 year old, standing straight up, defensive pose, weight even on both legs, waiting to react to the ball, rather than attacking it.

You have seen beginning shotgunners leaning back, anticipating the recoil, wrong-o, lean into the shot, and strange as it seems, this will reduce felt recoil. Look at the famous photo of Obama shooting skeet at Camp David if you want to see how NOT to do it. Leaning back, elbows down.

Also break all birds on "your side of the field", which means shooting the high house birds before the center stake at Stations 1, 2, 3 and conversely, let the low house birds "come to you" on your side of the field at 1,2,3. Just the reverse at Stations 5, 6, and 7. On 8 you got about half a second to cover with the muzzle and fire.
