SKS wood stock mag well issue

My buddy has a wood stock SKS with a mag well issue. We believe that the wood has swollen and the magazines don't fit in the well. Anyone have/ had this issue?

You have the correct stock for the rifle? Several are available depending on the barrel.

I believe it's the original wood stock it will fire if you window load it.

If it has swollen wood causing a problem, just put a few pictures of Hillary Clinton near it. That wood will quickly shrink back to normal size or smaller.

Is the mag original? Chinese or Yugo SKS?

Not feeding from the mag cause it won't fit in the mag well. I can look at it today and find out if it's Yugo or Chinese. We haven't tried a different mag to see if it's just that 1 mag or the mag well.
