Slashes 10oz Vltor ar10 heavy buffer question

Im building an 18” rifle length gas system. Im going to run a vltor length buffer tube. Im looking to run a 10oz buffer from heavy buffer .com i will be running it mainly suppressed, but will also run unsupressed dont want to run a adjustable gas block. . Does anyone have one of these buffers if so can you measure it for length. Pcc 10oz in 4.125” vltor is 3.995

The AR10R-XH buffer (10 oz) is too long for a Vltor A5 (RE-10) buffer tube, it only works in rifle length tubes (A2).

For an A5 buffer tube you want an XH carbine buffer (8.5 oz) and a .308 RIFLE buffer spring (#EA1095).
