slim can flash hider for AR pistol

Anyone have experience with these things on a short barreled AR? Do they make a significant difference with the concussion of em? I shoot mostly at an indoor range and my 7.5" pistol is pretty jarring, especially when standing behind the shooter. I don't mind personally but the last time I shot the couple next to me was flinching pretty bad every time we shot it. I try not to be "that guy" at the range so was wondering if they help at all?

The 7.5" pokes holes in paper pretty good at the range Im shooting from. Not asking it to do much more then that. Any experience with that can?
