Small kid rifle recommendations for a 13 year old

No to the Model 60.
Especially that used one from the mid 1980's.
They're too long and heavy for a skinny girl.
A 13 year old boy, sure.
I've seen adult women lower such .22 rifles (with tubular mags full of ammo under the barrel) after 15 seconds snd say they can't deal with the weight.

(Really, it's a balance issue more than overall weight. The gun is decidedly muzzle-heavy).

The stock is normal adult sized, too.
For a kid the length of pull should be 1.5" shorter.

I must be a mean dad lol. My son got a 308 savage for his 13th birthday. My 9yo boy shoots an ar in grendel I put together for him. My older boy shot an ar in 223 from 6yo to 13 for hunting and plinking.

223 is cheap and accurate enough to keep them both engaged. They rarely shoot under 100yds anymore.
