I just bought one. (Galaxy). Primarily for health and exercise monitoring. I haven't worn a watch in years and after a few days I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get used to it again. (Plus I'm kind of rough on them).
What has been your experience?

Love my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Wear it every day. It's waterproof enough that I can even wear it at the beach and in the pool.

The Galaxy Watch 7 is scheduled for release in June or July and since I just upgraded to a S24 Ultra 1GB I will upgrade to a Watch 7 too.

Samsung has an excellent trade in program.

If u wear it for health monitoring, Great! All for awareness and alerting you of your body. I had an iwatch once informing me my heart rate jumped.

If you wear it to be connected to your phone. Not so great. Informed at all hours of the day and night to be alerted for emails and text…I feel u have issues in ur life that u feel u need to be connected. Let me just say…no one is that important

But if u worry about ur kids and u need to be connected for family purposes, then that’s an exception. To be avail for family. Great.

I've worn an Apple Watch since they added the EKG so I could monitor my atrial fibrillation. Just last month I was in afib for 12 days. After the 3rd day, I couldn't feel the afib like I normally can. I thought it was over and converted to sinus rhythm, but it hadn't. I consider it invaluable for that reason alone. I also use it to monitor my O2 levels, my steps and exercise, and more importantly I use it to remind me to take my medication throughout the day.

I hate wearing any and all forms of jewelry and am always rough on watches. My wife bought me an Apple watch 3 years ago and I thought I was going to hate it. It took some getting used to but I wear it daily now. I beat the hell out of it too, wear it whether I'm working on stuff, yard work, you name it. It's surprisingly held up very well to the abuse.

I tried both the Galaxy when I had an Android and the iwatch with my iphone.

All the notifications drove me nuts, and when I turned them off realized a regular watch suited me better.

To each their own.....
