DLC would be the toughest wearing finish, but even it will wear eventually. The high-wear spots will eventually go back to the way they were worn.

My 637 stainless is my daily carry as well. I only dreamed it had thoose few of marks. Like the other people have said its my tool and it has been well used and still works. Round count it unknown as it goes to the range quite often.
She aint Purdy but she is loyal and dependable! Which is good enough for me..

I got a 442 had I guess 30 years looks like it’s been drug down the highway but still tight and shoots good.
