I've noticed less smoke using any powder when going with more crimp on cast bullets.

a lot of the guys casting for AR (300 blackout) are now powder coating the lead bullets. seems to work well, no smoke, clean gas tubes, etc. google the blackout forum and see what they have to say there..

Lube mostly - lead with a coating and no lube will be a lot less smoke almost as cheap most like the tumbled moly but lee has alox there is a specked copper one also. I have used only the ga arms moly coating with good results.

I've used them with titegroup, still a good bit of smoke.
