Smoking turkeys for the 1st time...

I put mine in a pan full of chicken broth with chopped onion. Injected with TS Creole butter (use what suits you) and a light rub on it. About 4 hrs in the Big Green Egg and afterward it gets devoured.
Best turkey that I've ever had.

I'll make sure to take a pic of the 26 lb turkey I take out of the smoker in the morning. That one was a 19 lb that didn't survive less than a dozen people. This year I'm hopefully going to have leftovers.

Don't forget to stuff it with apples.

Cajun Injector creole butter is some good stuff. Can find it at Kroger.

Bought some of this last night at Kroger.
Question...do you still brine soak the turkey beforehand or just inject it with Cajun solution?
