Snake boots

Looking to buy my first pair of snake proof boots, any adivce or tips on style or brands?

Lacrosse has so good ones

rocky makes a good one too. i prefer a one with side zippers and a retainer to hold the zipper quiet

I have a set of Lacrosse from Bass Pro. Brother got struck; but no venom a couple of years ago. I figure that $150 boots will beat the hospital bill and pain for a bite. Only word of advise is to try them on with the socks you will be wearing..

I have had a pair of Rocky's for 20 years now. First 10 years I hunted hard probably 25 to 35 days each year plus scouting trips. 2nd ten years not near as hard but they are still in great shape.

I bought 16" Lacrosse with the side zipper. Have been through water and came out with dry feet. I love 'em.

With the cold weather settling in most snakes will be in hibernation. I have a pair of Bass Pro Trekker snake boots. They are great.
