Snake On My Trail Camera

Well this is a first, for me anyway. I have captured more than 50k trail camera pictures in the past 5 years and this is the first snake I have ever captured on camera.

you sure there ain't 2 snakes?? smaller, dark one moving a 7 o'clock, and a much larger one stationary at 3-4 o'clock position horizontally, with some pattern on it.

The larger one at 3 o'clock is a stick, I have been meaning to move it because it get me every week when I download my pictures.

I thought so as well. I have captured hawks, raccoons, turkeys, bobcats , foxes, deer coyotes as well as a few trespassers, but this has to be one of the coolest.

Stick.....well that explains "stationary"!! Ever figure out what the moving one was, deer didn't seem too worried?

Not sure, I killed a Timber Rattler and Copperhead this year not far from this location.

Never captured a snake; but did catch my son years ago sneaking in the back door. I guess he forgot we put one near the bird feeder to get action shots of birds coming into the feeder.

My brother had some shots of a big rattler that crawled into the feed trough while the deer were feeding.

More pictures of it leaving the trough and crawling through the deer's legs. They never acknowledged one another.

That one pic makes it looks like it has an hourglass shaped pattern on it. Makes me think Copperhead.
