Got an 18 lb cat but he's old like me and unless they come right up to him , lay down , roll over on their back, and say eat me.....he ain't interested.

Well, I found him again.... Made his way into the back year and climbed into water fountain.... Went under the water for about 5 minutes.... now just sticking his head out of the water..... Still a good one?

YES...all snakes go to water from time to time just as all animals do, they get thirsty and know that small animals and reptiles come to the water, he's hunting dinner......let him roam, he will kill and eat any poisonous one that comes around.

lol, still good. And doesn't really taste like chicken
First, that's my hunting buddy, not me, so I wasn't there when he caught it. He said it was a rat snake and he's caught three others of similar size. One had 4-5 bulges after he'd had his lunchtime meal of chicken eggs.
