I found a Brown Snake on my sidewalk and thought it might be a juvenile Copperhead also.

Just remember, a juvenile Copperhead has a yellow tipped tail

Educate yourself and your kids about the snakes in GA and you won't have to worry about them "playing" with something that could hurt them. My kids had a ton of fun with the snake eggs we found in the garden a couple of years ago. I think we had 10 or 11 hatch from this batch.

I sure hope that's not the mother snake with her eggs. I can hear it now, ouch, ouch, ouch.
