Snow on my Mountain

0600, power goes out. Lovely. Had to shovel snow for the first time in my life in order to drag my generator around to the connection point. But all is good now, lights, heat and plenty of firewood.
Got 5" in Smyrna
Power out for a while but back on
Wood heater working fine
Drug out my tiny generator last night ,
Made sure it would crank and gathered up some extention cords
Haven't needed it yet
It's just a Honda 1200
Run the fridge and the tv to keep the wife happy
I'm old school , stopped by the library Thursday and got some books

Have 9 inches here in Young Harris,power is out and has been since yesterday.Just have a little internet on the phone,be in touch when I can.
Wound up with 8 inches and no power still using the generator for fridge, lights, wifi, but have gas heat, water heater. All is good just testy.
Power just came back on,hoping for good
Haven't had power since noon on friday. Phone lines just came back on so I can check the internet. We got 12" total and it started melting this afternoon. Warm and toasty so no complaints but had to knock down the snow dams.
One good thing about getting a foot of snow is I was able to get two large brush piles burned today without having to worry about torching the whole mountain.
