So I Bought a Gun Safe, Now What?

I dont have lights because the room my safe is in is bright - never had the need. If it was dark, I would add battery sticky lights.

Op: good example of lights here. You can put a small power strip in the back and get a heat rod. Add lights when you can. The LED strips are really nice. Battery lights will just make you mad after a few months.

Thats all I got, just like 2 long guns and that pistol. The government is welcome to have them.

As far as handgun organization you have these options:

Sticky lights....so in my safe with the carpeted (or whatever it is) walls / ceiling...dang thing i use won't stick very long at all! Very frustrating. Have a nice n bright rectangular LED type with 3 bulb sections and kept falling....so for now i just lay it on shelf and hold in hand when needed. Gotta do some mo Googlin unless some light guru here has workable known solution

i also replaced the solid felt covered shelves with elfa wire shelves. can see from underneath if you have stuff stacked deep

As far as handguns go, I just keep everything in boxes with docs. Easier to stack them that way.
When you go to the range, just toss what you need in the range bag and go.
