IRS adds NFTs to its reporting requirements for digital assets

I called the so-called digital currency privacy guarantee for the bull**** it is almost as soon as Bitcoin launched. Blockchain is nice and secure, no debating that…however, the government either directly or de-facto owns or controls every damn thing else needed to process P2P encrypted transactions. The political tyrants are always going to get their cut, damn them all. This amounts to counter-party risk, no matter how you try to rationalize around it.

Those of you ‘hodling’ significant amounts of digital currency now have a limited — and closing — window to cash out and convert to hard assets. Anything but paper, something you can hold or stand on, should be considered. TINA has entered the chat, and what a bitch she is.
