So who all rides motorcycles?????

I donno... there's a video of a woman riding a big cruiser motorcycle with ape hanger handlebars maneuvering through an advanced riders skills course,
weaving around cones,
doing figure eights and U-turns, in a parking lot. She does it well.

Once you get used to unusually high handlebars, it seems to me you can make them work to get the bike to do what you need it to do.
They suck at high speeds

Just turned 70 and been riding motorcycles since 16. I know most of this thread is about sport bikes but I have always been a Harley guy...but we all ride for the same reason. Can't keep track of all the HD's I have owned but I will say this... jokers that talk trash about Harley's being unreliable are full of bull. Now old ones...that's another story. Currently riding my 2005 Screamin Eagle Fatboy CVO with 103 CI engine. Will never sell this one...
Touring with my wife is on a 2006 Road King with custom 6 speed, built 95 CI with 114 HP and 108 Ft Lbs of torque. Have dusted a few sport bikes with this sleeper...

Went to this Harley Davidson dealer in Buford thinking I would join the poker run. It was such a nice day!

But it turns out the neighboring chapter of the Christian Motorcyclists' Association, (the one based in Oakwood called 'Unchained Riders') had a tent set up and were distributing literature and not participating in the ride itself. So I stayed with them, being a CMA member myself from the Cumming chapter ('Muddy River Crossers") and I did not participate in this poker run. I still want to do one.
I have never done any poker run or any other group ride involving more than a few bikes.

I live in Flowery Branch just up the road from Frasiers. Drove by a ton of bikes at a local watering hole late this afternoon, bet they were from the poker run. My wife and I rode to Dahlonega and areas around yesterday. Great weather! Buddy of mine invited me to ride with his CMA group out of Kennesaw a few years back. Was a ride to Carters Lake complete with police escort. What a hoot! They stopped traffic at all the intersections for us. Awesome! Would enjoy getting hooked up with one of the CMA groups in Cumming or Oakwood.
